Welcome!

Welcome!

A warm welcome awaits you at The Mustard Seed — a Christian fellowship in the heart of Callington, southeast Cornwall. Callington is a small town of around 5,000 people and has four churches, of which The Mustard Seed is one. We have a variety of activities each week that interact with the community — both young and old. We come together for worship on a Sunday, home group Bible studies each week and other activities throughout the week. We are active in supporting both foreign and local missions.

The church is not affiliated to any denomination but upholds the evangelical tradition of Bible-based teaching, worship and prayer. It is also well-connected with the other churches in town and we are a part of many joint Christian activities.

ALPHA

Alpha is a well-known course on the Christian faith that is open to all. Each evening begins with a meal, then there is a DVD presentation on various aspects of the faith and after that there is an opportunity to discuss and to ask questions. The course that we are hosting will be on a Monday evening starting on 23rd January at 7.30pm at Dupath Farm Barn, PL17 8AD and will last for ten weeks. Please contact David on 01579 389576 or davidjewells@aol.com with questions about the course.

Christmas Nativity 2011

We hosted the open-air Nativity at the Pannier Market in Callington on Sunday afternoon, the 18th December 2011. It was a memorable occasion: there were calves, sheep, lambs and a donkey, around thirty children took part, there were musicians and singers leading the carols and the weather stayed dry during the event. The crowd also enjoyed the hot drinks and mince pies afterwards.

We are a fellowship of Christians committed to discovering God's love, and sharing the Good News of the Kingdom to the people of Callington.

Join us for worship on Sundays at 10:45 and 18:30
